National Assembly's Message of Peace on Paris Peace Agreement Anniversary

PHNOM PENH: The president of the National Assembly, Heng Samrin, has expressed how important is peace in the country during the 30th anniversary of the Paris Peace Agreement in Cambodia on Saturday. He says the Paris Peace Treaty has brought national unity, national reconciliation, peace and development to the nation to this day. He stresses, "Peace is an indispensable factor for the development of the nation."

 In addition to his message about the peace treaty in the country, he has asked people to get vaccinated against Covid-19. He says, "I would like to call on all people who have not been vaccinated against Covid-19 to go and get a free vaccine for everyone. The Royal Government continues to encourage people who have not been vaccinated in remote areas, communities and homes to develop community immunity against the Covid-19 virus and to live with the virus in new ways which it will enable us to reopen the country in the near future. At the same time, people who have been vaccinated and continue to implement health measures consistently at all times."
